IT
Guidance believes that the warranty is the prime consideration
for purchasing any PC or Hardware Component. We are committed
to doing everything reasonable to fulfill the warranty obligations
we enter into with our customers.
Procedure for
Warranty Returns
Please
see the RMA Policy and RMA Shipping
suggestions for information on the procedure for returning merchandise
for Warranty work and or replacement.
30 –
Day Warranty
Some
items when specifically stated included, but not limited to CPU’s,
used and or refurbished items may come with a Maximum of a 30-Day
replacement warranty. CPU’s purchased with a system board
will be granted a one year replacement.
1 – Year
Warranty
All
new items except when specifically excluded by information listed
with the product come with a one-year replacement warranty. CPUs
as previously stated do not initially include a one-year warranty
unless they are purchased with a motherboard. This warranty guarantees
that items purchased from IT Guidance will be defect free for
a period of one year. If during that one year period an item ceases
to function, due to manufacturer or mechanical defects IT Guidance
will replace the item upon receipt by our RMA Department. Replacements
will be assessed in the following fashion.
- 0 –
90 Days: Immediate replacement upon determination of
faulty product by RMA Department. This replacement will be with
a new product if possible, or repaired and or refurbished if
new product is unavailable.
- 90 Days
– 1 Year: Upon determination of faulty product
by the RMA Department, IT Guidance will replace the item based
on availability. Items no longer available in the market may
be subject to availability and may require additional time to
obtain a replacement. In some situations due to availability
customers may be given the option to choose fair market value
for the defective product and choose a current market substitution.
IT Guidance will not force a substitution of a product but additional
time for RMA replacement maybe required. In some cases customers
may be encouraged to deal directly with the manufacturer for
replacement as often the manufacturer warranty is longer than
the one year warranty provided by IT Guidance.
2 – Year
Warranty New
Systems except when specifically excluded by information listed
with the product come with a two-year replacement warranty. CPUs
as previously stated do not initially include a one-year warranty
unless they are purchased with a motherboard. This warranty guarantees
that Systems purchased from IT Guidance will be defect free for
a period of two years. If during that two year period an item
ceases to function, due to manufacturer or mechanical defects
IT Guidance will replace the item upon receipt by our RMA Department.

Extending Warranty
